Tutorial on facial proportions by Hyoko-x3 Tutorial on facial proportions by Hyoko-x3
My first tutorial :) hope you like it
just wanted to collect the things that I learned until now. Thought it might be helpful.
It feels very unfinished to me so I might add/change a few things later.
I had difficulties explaining what I want to show because english isn't my native language. If you have suggestions on how to improve the explanations please tell me. I hope the photos will make you understand everything for now.
Thank you very much for the photos!

I like this. It reminds me of studies on the golden ratio and symmetry. Very articulate.

Very nice tutorial! It's very helpful. I know I see a lot of people mess up the first one by putting the eyes way too high, or not taking into account the actual shape of a skull.

This is a great tutorial, and not bad at all for a first try! This will be very helpful to a lot of artists! (I actually already learned this stuff from art class, but...)

Your descriptions are easy to understand; don't worry. You're good at English! Yes, English is my native language.

*By the way, on number 4, the face is generally 5 eye-widths wide (according to my art teacher), but in real life that doesn't always seem to be true.*

thank you for the comment :) yep I've hear this about the 5 eyes-width, too. But for me it doesn't seem to be true, this is why I didn't add it. It is more like 3 eyes in the middle and then 1/2 eye at each side. maybe I'll add it this way. what do you think? :)
